Now we are arresting those who want to be one with nature, course it could have something to do with running around naked (flip-flops and a watch does not count as dress)....drunk....at night....and providing a naturalist show for the neighbors. Or as Fox reported::

HARRISBURG, Pa. — An airline pilot was found hiding behind a shed wearing only flip-flops and a wristwatch as a nighttime romp in the woods with a flight attendant ended with both under arrest, police said...

Jeffrey Paul Bradford, 24, and Adrianna Grace Connor, 24, both employees of Pinnacle Airlines Inc., were at a diner on the outskirts of Harrisburg on Sunday night before they apparently decided to walk into the woods, police said.

The two somehow became separated, and people who live in the neighborhood summoned police around 9:30 p.m., saying they had seen a naked man and an intoxicated woman...

The story of my life, a day late and a dollar short - now flight attendants are taking advantage of drunk pilots, if only back in the day...

A McCain - Rice Ticket?

David over at the Viewpoint Journal has a post up that Condoleezza Rice may be seeking to become McCain's running mate. As he points out, Rice is an exceptionally accomplished person. However, though I am a Rice fan, I'm not as sure as David that Rice being on the ticket is all good. The biggest hit, well the only hit, I see is that Rice is viewed as being too close to Bush. Not sure it's a good thing to have a close ally and the Secretary of State for an unpopular President running as one's VP.

Having said that, Rice does bring a lot to the table and as David notes, she is more qualified to be President than either Clinton or Obama - and she looks good in boots.

O.K., maybe it is all good.

Flip-Flops - Not Just Footwear but A Life Style

Everyone has to admit that politicians from both parties have "flip-flopped" on issues from time to time. However, the Dems have taken the "flip-flop" from summer footwear to political philosophy. First Bill Clinton with his "I didn't have sex with that woman" before he did have sex with her. Then came Kerry with his famous "I was for it before I was against it" campaign. Obama joined the crowd with his I didn't hear Wright's controversial speeches before he did hear them and Hillary adopted the philosophy when she remembered being under sniper fire before she remembered not being under sniper fire.

Now via This Aint Hell comes news that Mark Penn, Clinton's senior strategist has taken the flip-flop philosophy to an art form - he was both for and against the Colombian Free Trade Agreement at the same time. Penn condemned the Agreement while working his day job for the Clinton campaign and extolled its virtues while working his night job for the Colombian government. From the Washington Post:

Mark Penn, the pollster and senior strategist for Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential bid, left the campaign yesterday after it was disclosed he met with representatives of the Colombian government to help promote a free-trade agreement that Mrs. Clinton opposes...

The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that Mr. Penn, who serves as chief executive of public relations giant Burson-Marsteller, met with Colombian officials last Monday to help craft strategy to move the Colombian Free Trade agreement through Congress.

The problem I'm having is with the credibility of those the Democrats put up as presidential candidates. Who can believe anything they say if they will say anything?

DO NOT Drink and Take Language Lessons In Australia

A New Zealand man was sentenced to 75 hours community service for taking language lessons in Australia. O.K., there was a little more to it than that - like alcohol, and calling the cops a couple of times. From Fox:

Arthur Ross Cradock, 48, from the South Island town of Motueka, called police on February 11 and told them he was being raped at his home by the wombat and he needed help...

The orchard worker later called back and said: "Apart from speaking Australian now, I'm pretty all right, you know."

Cradock pleaded guilty in the local court to using a phone for a fictitious purpose. He was sentenced to 75 hours' community work.

Police prosecutor Sergeant Chris Stringer told the court alcohol played a large role in Cradock's life.

If you are going to prank the cops make sure you are believable - every English speaking person knows that you are not going to learn Australian in one encounter with a Kama Sutra expert, according to those in the know:

From Atlah World Ministries - a fire and brimstone sermon from Pastor Manning, who I don't think is an Obama fan. Watch the whole thing, but here's a few excerpts:

"Obama...got started, you didn't notice him until he brought out those big chested white women with their tight T-shirts and short pants, that's what a pimp does..oh come on, you don't get your campaign started with a big chested white woman, she must be a 54D, double D...he put his name on two big 54D's....on two great big o' tits."

Oh, this sermon comes from an African-American minister, who in spite of his strong language and rather large ego, does make sense in a combative and at times defamatory sort of way. Of course, I tend to think his claim to being a "diplomat" is a little on the weak side.

"Peace Activist" Assualts Blogger

Why is it that "peace protesters" are so often anything but peaceful? There 's the "lets vandalize recruiting stations" gang, then there's the "Easter Mass invading fake blood squirters" gang, and now comes this photo from Cao's blog of the poster boy for the "lets slap women around for peace" gang.

This guy, a member of the Chester County Peace Movement, believes that because he has a beret, a sign, and a cause he has the right to assault people in general, and women in particular who have a different political point of view. In keeping with his ignorant interpretation of Free Speech rights he slapped Skye from Midnight Blue in the face twice. The reason for the assault? Seems Mr. Beret didn't like her covering a pro-troop rally in Philly.

Anyone who assaults a person for holding a different view is one in need of jail time. Anyone man who assaults a woman for holding a different point of view is a coward in need of jail time. Assaulting people is not free speech - it is criminal and it is long past time that those who engage in such activity be prosecuted.
